This year marks the eighth year of Art Unequalled events at the Maltings in Ely.
Independently organised by local sculptor Sally Dunham, Art Unequalled brings together highly talented local and national artists and craftsmen all presenting their handmade creations for sale direct to the public.
Following on from the success of the winter show, held in late October/ early November for the last seven years, Sally Dunham has decided to launch a new summer show, taking place this year on 16th and 17th June, which also fits nicely into the calendar of the Isle of Ely Arts Festival, a celebration of all things creative.
Visitors to Art Unequalled can expect the usual high standard of exhibitors that Art Unequalled has become known for, and the weekend will see a showcase of over 40 makers, all working to the highest standards.
There will be a mixture of regular exhibitors that customers delight in meeting each year, as well as many new artists ensuring that there is a fresh and exciting feast for the eyes for all visitors.
Art Unequalled prides itself on the fact that everything you see at the show is handmade and presented by the artist who created it. This means that you can ask questions and gain a real insight into the ideas behind each creation. Several artists will also be demonstrating some of their techniques for you to watch and enjoy at the show.
You will find a fantastic mixture of ceramics, sculpture, wood, glass, furniture, jewellery, textiles, painting, photography, mixed media, illustration and print making at a range of prices to suit all budgets. Art Unequalled is a fantastic event to visit to find something unique for yourself, your home or a loved one; many of the exhibitors also work to commission allowing your to realise an idea you may have had for a bespoke design.
