John Banks Honda
2nd March 2017
John Banks Honda is delighted to announce the arrival of the first new 2017 Honda Civic models in Ipswich, Bury St Edmunds and Cambridge.
Having just taken delivery of the first demonstrators, John Banks are excited to see how it is received by the early customers to take it for a drive and experience the new seating position, greater visibility and onboard technology. Certainly the initial feedback from current Civic owners who were invited to the showroom to preview the new model was very positive, with customers impressed by the confident statement and sportier design.
Built in Britain at the factory in Swindon and exported world-wide, this latest Honda Civic is the tenth generation and builds on the notable success of past models. It is the result of the largest research and development project Honda has ever undertaken for a single model.
The result is that the Honda Civic is distinctive thanks to its stand-out design, comes with greater refinement than ever before, and is exciting to drive due to the new engines. Customers will be able to choose from either a 1.0 or 1.5 turbo charged petrol engine with either a manual or automatic transmission.
Mark Banks said: “The Honda Civic has always been a strong seller for us but this latest generation model is set to move the game on substantially. With its sporty driving, class-leading space and advanced safety, the all-new Honda Civic is a compelling buy. It even comes with the very latest in advanced connectivity.”
It is set to be a thrilling year for Honda and John Banks with the diesel Civic set to follow, and the Civic Type-R, having already claimed a prestigious award.
The high-performance version of the Civic, took the highly acclaimed What Car? Award for the most anticipated car of 2017. This is an award voted for by the thousands of readers of What Car? magazine and marks out the hot hatch Civic as the most eagerly anticipated car of the year.
