Including Artwork donated by 50 of Norfolk’s premier artists, it’s all in the name of raising funds for Anteros Arts Foundation.
The Anteros Arts Foundation is a charity for education and the promotion of the arts in Norfolk; it is entirely self funded and is run by a small team of dedicated people. The aim is to provide a hub for local artists and the community, as well as provide accessible avenues for discovery within the creative arts.
Specialising in short courses in fine art skills; particularly drawing, painting & sculpture, the foundation is expanding it’s educational program and will be offering a diploma course starting in September 2018.
The space offers artists the opportunity to exhibit their work in two gallery spaces and exhibitions rotate every two weeks. There is also an arts reference library that is is open to the public and warmly welcomes donations. The music room with it’s Tudor details houses a Steinway Piano that is used by music students as well as the touring artists that Anteros promotes who vary in style from Classical Piano to Jazz and Folk. On the third floor of the building, there are artists’ studios, which are usually open and welcoming to visitors.
Visit the Anteros Website for details on upcoming exhibitions, classes and events.
