With activities and adventures for children of all ages, Roarr! is a family friendly park with events that appeal to everyone. If visiting Dippy’s splash zone, remember to bring swimming costumes and towels but they can be purchased on the day in the Base Camp Sales & Supplies shop if needed. There are also lockers available in order to store possessions safely without them getting wet. Visitors over 90cm pay a £16.95 admission fee, those under 90cm go for free! Merrivale Model Village

Merrivale Model Village is an award-winning site consisting of miniature gardens, building, villages and attractions. There is an additional exhibit which allows you to step back in time and visit the Merrivale old penny arcade. With a variety of slot machines dating from the twenties to the sixties, explore their mechanics and intricate designs whilst working out how the machines operate. Bags of old pennies to play with are available from the gift shop.

There is also a crazy golf course (game price is included in the price of admission). The raised course allows for views over the model village and is fun for the whole family. The model village has everything from theatres and churches to Morris dancers and mansions. After a day of sightseeing, the Merrivale tea rooms offer tea and coffee alongside homemade cakes as well as lunches and afternoon teas. Sea Life – Hunstanton

Sea life Hunstanton offers a wide variety of different exhibits and places to visit including the seal hospital and recovery centre and penguin beach. With regular talks taking place each day, it is an amazing opportunity to learn more about SeaLife and how they need to be cared for. Hunstanton’s SeaLife Centre offers a whole variety of different species to explore and interact with. Children aged 3 -14 pay £15.95 and ages 15+ pay £17.95. Gressenhall Farm and Workhouse

Perfect for all members of the family, explore the lives of those living at the time through the use of projections of staff and inmates who bring to life true stories of those who once lived there.  

There is also a museum full of archives and stories as well as collections of items owned, used or made in Norfolk. As well as this, there is a recreation of a 1950s room to help illustrate the way in which a typical family would live. . If home life is not an area of interest, the engineering galleries house an array of steam engines and diesel engines that once helped with daily life. There is also a number of different gardens spread over the 50 acres of Norfolk countryside which are home to vegetable and herb gardens, wildlife and an orchard. Hilltop Outdoor Centre

For individuals over the age of eight, Hilltop Outdoor Centre is a high adrenaline adventure, ideal for burning off energy and participating in new activities. With hundreds of ideas from climbing and abseiling, high ropes, super swings and a variety of night games, the activity park spreads out over 31 acres of woodland. Pensthorpe Natural Park

Pensthorpe Natural Park has a variety of different nature reserves, gardens and sightings of different species of animals over the 700 acres of land. The natural park is an opportunity to get outside, take photos and tick of the different types of animals that are seen on a checklist.
