Blackthorpe Barn, Bury St Edmunds hosts “FIRED WORKS”

Blackthorpe Barn, Bury St Edmunds  hosts this specialist event called "FIRED WORKS"  Craftsmen who work with Clay, Glass & Metal all use a furnace to produce their unique items.

`Fired Works` or works from the fire.  Artists from France & Germany are taking part, plus artisans from across the UK. All have been carefully selected so the quality of work is second to none. Many exhibitors  are from East Anglia, including  a fantastic display by Anglian Potters. Visitors can also try their hand at Throwing A Pot with expert guidance !
 
An exclusive Private View will take place on Thursday May 9th between 6.30 – 8.30pm. Wine & Nibbles.

The event is sponsored by Northern Kilns who will have a wonderful show of kilns, wheels and glass making furnaces on display.  Fired Works is open over 10.11.12 May from 10am-5pm. Carat Catering will be providing refreshments, and local award winning  Bartrams Brewery. Car Parking at Blackthorpe is on hard standing, and the show is under cover in the Barn, and in small marquees in the courtyard.
