Hot new places to eat and drink in Cambridge
Loosen your belts! Forget about diets and getting trim for the summer. It’s time to check out the new arrivals in Cambridge and beyond. I can assure you, it’s pretty exciting!

Not your usual pub grub here, nothing like it! Daniel Clifford and his team from Midsummer House opened Flitch of Bacon in Little Dunmow in December 2015. Not a surprise of course, that they have raving reviews. Will they join the club of the famous stars too?
After a long refurbishment, one of my favourite Indian restaurants in Cambridge has re-opened again. Prana Restaurant in Mill Road serves traditional Indian cuisine, but its modern take on some of the classic dishes are my favourite.
My Tapas prayers have been heard! I can’t say how pleased I am that Tapas has finally arrived in Cambridge. The Emperor is no longer a pub, but a Latin American restaurant. Delicious food and a huge range of drinks. Must try: the Causa and Ceviche!
Pot Au Feu with a Chinese Twist. Or better known as the Vietnamese soup Pho, Vietnamese comfort food. Very popular for breakfast, but eaten all day. Pho in Wheeler Street don’t just serve Pho, but also a good selection of traditional Vietnamese food.
There is more to come! If you like Champagne and Tapas, then Don Pasquale’s new venture on the Quay side is a must visit, due to open in March.
More into bikes, good food and craft beer? The Cambridge Brewhouse and the Mill Pond Pub have got it covered. They are going to open a sister pub in the old bike shop of Howes Cycles, called ‘the Old Bicycle Shop’ in homage to the world oldest bike shop.
