It’s no secret that we Brits love our dogs, and no more so than in Little Waltham near Chelmsford where Channels award-winning Bar & Brasserie lays on the perfect canine experience: great food and good walks!

The restaurant is poised to become the best dog-friendly dining destination in Essex by extending an enthusiastic welcome to our four-legged friends, inviting them to eat, drink and sleep after a fabulous walk in the surrounding parkland.

The restaurant has thoughtfully created the 4 Paws menu which is guaranteed to get tails really wagging. Proctors Sausages, Cheese & Biscuits, Doggy Ice Cream, Snuffle Dog Beer and Pawsecco Wine are just a few of the treats available for doggy diners.

Katie Squire, the young restaurateur responsible for guiding the fortunes of the Channels Bar & Brasserie explains: “Pet-friendly hospitality is on the rise which is great news for dog owners who are tired of leaving their best friend behind.

“We want to join the increasing number of smart, dog welcoming venues that are springing up all over the country. After all, we have exceptional amenities and green space here and felt that we couldn’t cater for the whole family without including the dog!”

Hi, just looking for somewhere to meet another dog owning friend – for tea or lunch – is there somewhere to walk them if it’s fine, or is that just for residents?? We want to meet to walk dogs, but eat if it’s raining!!
