The fun starts on the 29 November with a traditional Christmas tree festival, which will be available to admire until the 1 December. On 30 November the town will come alive with live music, festive entertainment and gift stalls. The lights will be switched on at 5pm, followed by a parade. A dinosaur-themed winter wonderland will arrive at the park on Saturday 30 November. Children can stumble across the magical world of Narnia through C.S. Lewis’ enchanted wardrobe in the Lost World Maze, as well as discover creatures through the festive-themed Dinosaur Trail, filled with hidden candy canes. Christmas arts and crafts will be available for children to take part in and make decorations and cards to take home for family and friends.

Families can step into an enchanted grotto to visit Father Christmas, where Dippy and his little helpers will be on hand to give out gifts. An additional £6.95 will be charged to meet Father Christmas in his grotto, which includes a special gift from Dippy and all the crew at Roarr! There are lots of places to see Mr Claus himself during the festive period but this year Mannington Estate is hosting the Christmas Fairy with her Elf helper. They will be hiding in a special corner of the hall which is not normally open to visitors. The hall will be traditionally decorated, the gardens will be lit up and there will be Christmas activities, music and festive fayre. The event runs from 11am – 7pm with visits to the Fairy between 2-4pm.
