Waveney & Blyth Arts have organised their fifth annual Waveney Valley Sculpture Trail exhibiting the work of over thirty artists, opening Friday 17 August until Sunday 16 September 2018. The woodland trail showcases a wide range of works in ceramic, stone, metal, and glass. The exhibition will host the works of established artists alongside up and coming artists. The centre has a gallery, café and pop-up shop.

Inspired By Becker Art Society Exhibition, Wenhaston.
The Inspired By Becker Art Society have come together for their annual exhibition in St Peter’s Church showcasing over 28 artists’ work inspired by the East Anglian painter Harry Becker. Predominantly they work in watercolour, ink, charcoal and pastel. It opens Friday 3 August until Sunday 5 August with a Paint Out competition on the Saturday. The church café will offer food and refreshment.
Tim Peake’s Soyuz Spacecraft and a Space Descent VR Experience, Peterborough Cathedral.
Peterborough Cathedral has won a nationwide competition to be the sixth location on Tim Peake’s Soyuz Spacecraft’s national tour, exhibiting the spacecraft and a VR experience from Saturday 11 August until Wednesday 5 November 2018. The display is expected to also have Peake’s spacesuit and the parachute used in the spacecraft’s return to earth.

Cambridge Junction presents In Your Way; An open-air programme of art and theatre installations across Cambridge’s city centre on the 8thand 9thof September. The first installation ‘KHOR II’ is a community built pavilion, the UK premier of the piece by Dutch-Belgian collective TAAT (Theatre as Architecture, Architecture as Theatre).

Anwen, Lady Hurt has been announced as Norfolk’s Holt Festival new
permanent Artistic Director from 2019 onwards. Anwen will be taking the reins from Stash Kirkbride who is directing its 2018 10thanniversary year which will run from Saturday 21stuntil Sunday 29thJuly. There will be a packed programme of music, exhibitions, drama, film, comedy and children’s events.
