Hertford Christmas Gala, 23-24 Nov

The annual Christmas Gala event will take place on Friday 23 November with Christmas markets, street entertainment, a performance stage, petting reindeer, stalls, Christmas grotto and Christmas tree light switch on at 3.30pm-8pm. The event is followed by the Think Hertford, Think Christmas event on 24 November, which will feature craft workshops and seasonal offers.

Hoddesdon Loves Christmas, 24 November, 10am-6pm
Town centre, Hoddenson
Entertainment and activities, include an animal nativity scene and a visit from the reindeers from Paradise Wildlife Park. A full programme from performers will take place in the arena which will include the Enfield Brass Band and local choirs with children’s rides and stalls in the High Street alongside an array of craft and charity stalls promoting and selling their wares to visitors. The event will conclude with the Father Christmas Parade and at 5.45pm, a countdown to the switch-on of the Christmas Tree lights followed by a short fireworks display over the town.
