How to achieve more income from your holiday let with less work in Norfolk

Pass the Keys, who started in 2015 in London are expanding fast, and have now arrived on the Norfolk Coast. Operated by local entrepreneur, Graham Middleton, this new kind of property management firm aims to help their clients boost their income through short-letting.

Short-letting, otherwise known as holiday letting, has seen a huge increase in Norfolk over recent years thanks to platforms like Airbnb, who have connected short-term guests with flexible hosts, and therefore made this income stream available to everyone for the first time.

All these guests create work, however, and lots of it. This is the problem that Graham and Pass the Keys are trying to solve.
Graham says: “We think that a single property can take as much as 10 hours each week to manage, and that is assuming that nothing goes wrong! Most people do not have this kind of time to spare, and hopefully, now this will not matter! We do everything, from creating the listing, and finding the guests, to checking them in , cleaning up after them and even providing Hotel quality linen! It has been great to Partner with Pass the Keys as they already have 5 years’ experience, are the UK’s largest Airbnb professional co-host and have already learned how to deliver a high-quality service, in what is a very complex environment”.

Graham has a thorough knowledge of the local area having lived and worked here all his life. Growing up in Snettisham, he attended Smithdon School and now lives with his wife and family in King’s Lynn and serves the community as a local Borough Councillor. In previous positions he has played a key role in helping to grow the West Norfolk economy to assist in economic growth and in tourism expansion.

Graham continues “Having researched the holiday let market and second home management economy, I truly believe that the Pass The Keys model will provide a game changer for property owners. We have a model that truly offers a fully managed service which I strongly believe will meet and exceed owners’ requirements.”
