An Ipswich charity shop is to show customers how to look good for less at a fashion styling fundraiser.
East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH) will host Charity Shop Chic: How To Look Good on a Budget, with Suffolk Fashion Show director and fashion stylist Pam Davis, between 5pm and 7.30pm on Thursday, 26 October.
Pam, model and director of the successful styling business Fashion Candy Style, will be explaining how to achieve a great look without breaking the bank.
She said: “Sharing my fashion expertise whist supporting a great charity is a wonderful way to showcase pre-loved clothes for everyone.”
Julie Pearson, volunteer clothing manager at EACH in Ipswich, said: “If you’re passionate about reusing and re-loving clothing, and looking good at the same time, this event is for you. With more and more charity shops fine-tuning their approach to fashion, there’s absolutely no reason why you can’t look stylish whatever your budget.”
Tickets are £5 and entitle holders to welcome drinks and nibbles, a group presentation by Pam, a personal one-to-one with Pam on what to wear, with a takeaway guide, the opportunity to buy clothes donated from Pam’s personal wardrobe and to indulge in some late-night shopping.
To buy, either visit the shop at 171-173 Felixstowe Road or go to www.each.org.uk/fashion.
There is free but very limited parking on site.
