Once again the festivities begin with celebrity TV chef Lesley Water’s Pancake Breakfast. Between 8am – 10am, Lesley will be cooking a delicious breakfast alongside local chefs in the marquee on the Market Square. The event is ticket only. Last year was a sell out so make sure you book quick! The ‘Ready Steady Olney’ cooking competition will follow at 10.30am.
The big pancake action kicks off with the main ladies’ race at 11.55am followed by the shriving service and prize giving at St Peter and St Paul’s Church. At 7pm, there will be a link up with Liberal, Kansas USA to out the winner of the International Race.

8 am – 10am – Lesley’s Pancake Breakfast
9am – 1pm – Hot Pancake, tea and coffee in the Market Place and the Church Hall
10am – 1pm – Childrens Entertainment in Market Place
10 am – Childrens Races on north side of the Market Place
10.30am – 11.30am – ‘Ready Steady Olney’ in the Marquee on the Market Place
11am – 11.45am – Runners for The Olney Pancake Race assemble and register in the Marque
11.55am – Olney Pancake Race starts outside the Olney Deli
12 midday – Teflon Prize giving at the finish of the race in Church Street
12.15pm – Shriving Service in the Parish Church followed by the official prize giving
7 pm – Church Hall live web link with Liberal, The Grand Raffle will be drawn
