Over 600 free tickets to Norwich attractions up for grab

There are over 600 pairs of free tickets up for grabs for attractions and experiences across Norwich and Norfolk with the Norwich Big Weekend

The free ballot is now open to Norfolk residents. Residents can enter the ballot as many times as they like between now and 16 March at norwichbigweekend.co.uk.

Norwich Castle

VisitNorwich’s Norwich Big Weekend invites everyone with a Norfolk postcode to re-discover their city Norwich and beautiful county Norfolk by entering a free ballot to win pairs of tickets and group tickets to a plethora of experiences.

Anyone with a Norfolk postcode is eligible to enter the free ballot to win tickets to some of the best museums, cultural venues, restaurants and hotels in Norwich and Norfolk.

With over 600 pairs of tickets to be won, more than 1,000 Norfolk residents will enjoy free days out and experiences. Most tickets will be valid over Saturday and Sunday 4 – 5 April, which is the perfect time to kick-start the traditional tourist season which runs from Easter until October.

From days out at Norwich Castle, fine dining at Benedicts, overnight stays in 4* hotels and gin tasting experiences with Bullards, there is something for everyone. There’s even the chance for one lucky entrant to win an intu Chapelfield £1000 gift-card.

Here are some of the prizes on offer as part of Norwich Big Weekend:

Museum of Norwich at the Bridewell
30 pairs of tickets to the museum.
4 pairs of tickets to play the Merchant’s Vaults Escape Game presented by History Mystery.
5 pairs of tickets to the museum plus tickets to play Goin’ Up the City Escape Game presented by History Mystery.

NOIRWICH
One pair of Season Passes for Noirwich Crime Writing Festival in September from the National Centre for Writing.

NORWICH AIRPORT
One Behind the Scenes Tour of the Airport, including an airfield tour and visits to Air Traffic Control and the airport Fire Station for 4 people.

NORWICH FILM FESTIVAL
20 pairs of tickets to a one-off Norwich Film Festival screening.

Sixty group tickets (4 people) for entry to Norwich Castle.

Organised by Norwich Business Improvement District and VisitNorwich, Norwich Big Weekend is a destination marketing campaign designed to encourage residents to rediscover the amazing things to see and do in Norwich and their home county – and hopefully to spread the word.
