New Year is always about a new you. But sometimes the task or promise we make ourselves can take its toll. Well how about something that’s not going to get old – a pledge to look after ourselves a little better. Liking the sound of this? Me too…
I don’t know about you, but I can probably count on one hand my spa experiences. Is that normal? But when I think about it, why not have a time out more often? There is nothing I like more than a gentle swim, sauna and steam room. Don’t forget to throw in a treatment, you deserve it! It’s so important to de-stress occasionally so here are few of the best spas in the East of England to do just this…
Ufford Park in Woodbridge, Suffolk
A day (or half day) of relaxation here is very flexible. Consisting of two, three and six-hour time-slots, you can choose the amount of time to spend at Ufford Parks Thermal Suite alongside that spent experiencing your treatment. Just book your time slot with the therapists – even when booking you don’t have to commit to a treatment as you can choose on the day of your visit, which is ideal if you can’t decide just yet or are prone to changing your mind! The Thermal Suite experience is based on the ancient ritual of bathing, where the body is treated using a series of hot and cooling experiences, guiding your body through a sensory journey. Facilities include a hydro pool, aroma steam room and ice fountain. Oooh sign me up!
