Ampthill Rocks! Make memories with a weekend to remember in Ampthill
It’s that time of year again when the quiet pretty market town of Ampthill comes alive with the sound of music. This summer British pop rock boyband The Vamps are taking to the stage alongside Squeeze, The Cuban Brothers and Jo Whiley to bring a lively weekend of fun and frolics at the Ampthill Festival Weekend.
Taking place 5-7 July in Ampthill Park, the three-day volunteer-run music festival, will see festival-goers enjoy a weekend of live music and entertainment. The festivities begin with AmpRocks on Friday 5 July, where The Vamps, Squeeze, The Cuban Brothers and Jo Whiley will entertain crowds. The event is hugely popular so be quick to purchase tickets.
The weekend continues with AmpProms on the Saturday with performances byBritain’s Got Talent winning musical theatre quartet Collabro, the Ampthill Choir and Ampthill Concert Orchestra. The event is finished with a spectacular firework display.
The weekend closes with the AmpGala on Sunday 7 July. A free, no ticket required event, it’s a great family day filled with fun, a lively parade, local bands and stalls.
