The grounds of Knebworth House are being taken over by a magical Winter Festival this weekend, 9-11 November 2018.
Promising to be one of the best and biggest Christmas experiences to take place in the region this year, the festive weekend will include shopping, food, an ‘Enchanted Christmas Garden’, interactive Father Christmas experience and stand up from some of the biggest names in comedy.
If you have children in tow make a stop at the ‘Enchanted Garden’; an immersive experience designed around the history and heritage of Knebworth House. In groups, children will be led to explore each room of the maze, encountering mythical creatures along the way, before reaching Santa’s Grotto.
There’s plenty of opportunities to pick up perfect presents with The Winter Collective, a pop up shopping event that showcases products from artisans, makers and creative businesses, all with an emphasis on British made goods and hand crafted items.
Foodies will be heaven with the choice of tastings and demos at the festival. Tasty winter treats will be on offer from some of the UK’s best artisan street food providers, plus there’s plenty of chances to try before you buy. The Feature Stage will be welcoming cooking demonstrations from chefs such as The Food Busker, and whisky expert Dave Broom.
The Apres Ski Lodge with its faux fur rugs and log fires is the perfect place to warm up and rest with a glass of hot spiced mulled wine or seasonal cocktail.
If that wasn’t enough to keep you occupied, the Feature Stage will see comedians Greg Davies, Rhod Gilbert, Mark Steel and more, take to the stage to keep visitors laughing well into the evening. The Comedy Festival takes place on Friday and Saturday only, tickets are selling fast, so you’ll need to be quick!
