Meraki Festival, 11-13 August

A new three-day summer festival featuring a line-up of top live music acts across three major music stages, with special features and creative spaces around the festival for everyone to enjoy. Newmarket Racecourse Antique and 20th Century Fair, 13-August

Newmarket Racecourse (Rowley Mile), The Heath, Newmarket, Suffolk, CB8 0TF

This huge antiques fair will include over 220 inside stands plus outside stands of antiques, art deco and collectables. There will be an antique valuation roadshow, free valuations and appraisals, an antique restoration workshop and specialist collectors room for stamps, medals, cards, coins, ephemera and more. Aldeburgh Carnival, 19-20 August

It’s carnival season on the Suffolk Coast. Make the most of the seaside as the popular Aldeburgh Carnival makes a return. This year’s carnival theme is ‘Amazing Aldeburgh’. Expect colourful displays, music, performances, stalls and much more. Full details at

Wind in the Willows at Holkham Hall

Outdoor Theatre at Holkham Hall, 23 August

Pack your picnics and enjoy an evening of toe-tapping music and larger than life characters with an outdoor stage performance of the family classic ‘Wind in the Willows’. Cambridge Cocktail Festival, 25-27 August

The Cambridge Cocktail weekend is back for its second year! Last year saw over 2,000 people attend, and this year is set to be even bigger. The three-day extravaganza will offer a fabulous festival of cocktails, with bars aplenty, both Cambridge favourites and bars from global spirits superstars, plus the best in music and entertainment.

Harry Potter Themed Afternoon Tea at Mocha, 26-28 August

Calling all Harry Potter fans! For one weekend only Mocha in Great Yarmouth will be hosting a Harry Potter Themed Afternoon Tea. A magical meal inspired by the Harry Potter book series, there’ll be butterbeer, pumpkin juice and a range of themed drinks and cocktails for you to enjoy. The Brentwood Centre Antiques & Collectors Fair, 27-28 August

The Brentwood Centre, Doddinghurst Road, Brentwood, CM15 9NN
