Stowmarket Beer Festival, 6-9 July 2017
Open from 6-11 pm Thursday, 12-11 pm Friday and 11 am – 11 pm Saturday
The Stowmarket Beer Festival will be taking place at the Museum of East Anglian Life and feature over 80 real ales and a number of ciders, all held within the museum’s atmospheric 13th century barn. Live music will take place on Thursday, Friday and Saturday night and visitors can enjoy a range of beers from across the UK.
Chelmsford Summer Beer Festival 4-8 July 2017
Open from 12-11pm
The Chelmsford Summer Beer Festival will be taking place in Admirals Park and boats over 300 real ales and over 100 ciders and perries to try. Visitors can also sample wine and prosecco while enjoying world food and live music. A family fun day will be taking place on the Saturday and a number of food and drink parings will be available throughout the week.
Bishops Stortford Beer Festival, 28-30 July 2017

The Bishop’s Shortford Beer Festival is held in the large, private walled garden behind the British Legion Club. This large secluded and quiet garden makes an ideal location for relaxing and enjoying some of the excellent choices of beer, ciders and perries on office. Enjoy over 100 beers and ciders from around the country, including many that are rare and local.
Peterborough Beer Festival, 22-26 August 2017
Open from 3-11pm, from 5:30 pm on Tuesday
The Peterborough Beer Festival will be taking place at the Embankment. Visitors can enjoy five days of over 400 real ales, ciders, perries wine and bottled beer along with live music and great food in the heart of Peterborough. The Tipplefair will take place on Saturday, which will include 20+ exhibitors featuring breweriana, glassware, playing cards and other drink-related collectibles.
Clacton on Sea Real Ale & Cider Festival, 23-26 August 2017
Open from 11 am – 11 pm, 6 pm – 11 pm on Saturday
The Clacton-on-Sea Real Ale and Cider Festival will be taking place at St James’ Hall and offer over 65 real ales, ciders, perries, wines and international beers to visitors. The festival is very near to the seafront and will be taking place at the same time as the famous Clacton Air Show, so why not combine both visits in one? There is plenty of holiday camping in the area and the festival is child friendly.
