Snape Malting Vintage & Makers Market , Sunday 8 April, from 10am to 4pm.
The popular Vintage & Makers Market at Snape Maltings kicks off a season of markets at the Suffolk coast venue this month. It’s hosted by Deben Events, who have hand-picked a choice of vintage traders and local makers and artisans with some 50 traders lined up to take part. Drive along the border of Essex and Cambridgeshire and you’re bound to find a sign advertising this quirky fair. It alternates venues each month and is stacked with vintage fashions and accessories, furnishings and antiques – there’s tea and cake too! Lou Lou’s Norwich Vintage Fair, 22 April, 11am-4pm
St Andrew’s Hall, Norwich
A firm favourite on the vintage scene, Lou Lou’s fair returns for a spring edition in Norwich this month. There’s plenty of stalls selling a mix of fashion styles, accessories, home wares and collectables. Add to your experience by visiting the hair and beauty salon for a makeover; think pin curls and sky scraping beehives! Biddy’s Tea Room will also be serving up tea and cake! Entry £2.50, under 12s free.
Essex Museum of Power Antique & Vintage Fair, 15 April, 10.30am – 4pm
The Museum of Power, Hatfield Road, Langford, Maldon, Essex, CM9 6QA
The unusual setting is one of the highlights of this fair. The museum will be cleared of many of its exhibits in order to accommodate stallholders, which expand into the courtyard. You’ll find stalls selling a range of antique and vintage items from jewellery, household, collectables, clothes and bric-a-brac. There will also be other attractions including an art trail, model village, a genuine vintage tea room and much more. Entry £3, kids free.

Don’t worry if you don’t get a chance to visit this time around, this popular fair is held over two days every month. With around 50 stalls offering a good mix of antiques, jewellery, clothing, vinyl records, kitchenalia and more, it’s quite easy to spend a couple hours browsing and admiring the items on sale. Entry is just £1, under 16s are free entry and its dog-friendly too; a great day out for the whole family!
