The Secret Garden is an Eco glamping site, just a stone’s throw from Cambridge and features a beautiful ‘hobbit hole’ with a luxurious king size bed and fairy lights, a covered camp kitchen and dining area, a herb garden and circular firepit. Relax in the woodland spa area with a private wood fi red hot tub and compost toilet. A great base for exploring the local area.
Best for history lovers
Enjoy a stay surrounded by history in the grounds of Layer Marney Tower. Choose from one of the six tented encampments named after one of the wives of Henry VIII. Each encampment has a main tent which can sleep up to six people in their own beds with a toilet, running water and lights. Three of the encampments even have their own hot tub to enjoy.
Dog friendly campsites
Thompson Hall Retreat in Norfolk has beautiful shepherd’s huts nestled amongst the trees and with views across the Norfolk Wild Life Trust properties. Dog friendly, these huts can host two people along with a furry friend or two. All Shepherd’s huts have a luxury king size bed, kitchen facilities, private bathrooms and a private veranda with a gas fire pit, to enjoy in the evening.
