Summer may be over but there’s still plenty to do in Woburn. Check out this season’s events at the Woburn Abbey Estate…

Honey Festival, 22 September

Get stuck in and celebrate all things honey at Woburn Abbey and Gardens. Guests will be kept busy with The Bedfordshire Beekeeper’s Association honey show, demonstrations and talks. There’s even the chance to try on a beekeepers outfit! Throughout the day, visitors can watch demonstrations such as skep-making and candle rolling. Children will be kept entertained with an abundance of activities. Don’t leave without purchasing some local honey or a bees wax product from the stalls.

An Evening with Chase Distillery, 4 October


The gin craze isn’t going anywhere. If you’re partial to a tipple book your table at this event where development manager from Chase will provide a fascinating talk about the production of gin and vodka with a selection of samples, followed by a three course dinner.

Chocolate Afternoon Tea, 19 October – 3 November

Things are getting extra sweet at The Woburn Hotel! As part of National Chocolate Week, the hotel will be adding a twist on the classic afternoon tea with an indulgent chocolate creation. The event coincides with half term, be warned though, this is likely to get booked up quick!

Bel Canto, A Classical Crossover, 25 October

Enjoy an enchanting evening of classic and contemporary music in the grand setting of The Sculpture Gallery. The evening includes dinner in this delightful location.

Remembrance Sunday: War Notes from Woburn, 10 November

Feast on a traditional Sunday lunch while listening to a beautiful blend of vintage songs performed by Lili la Scala. Warm up your pipes as there’s the chance to sing along.

Santa Sunday Lunch, 8 December

Get the family into the Christmas spirit with a three course lunch at The Sculpture Gallery Santa will make an appearance, host story time and give gifts to children. As this is a popular fun festive afternoon, early booking is highly advised. In addition, there are more festive foodie events at the Woburn Hotel, ideal for celebratory lunches and dinners with colleagues, friends and family.

New Year’s Eve at The Sculpture Gallery, 31 December

Welcome 2020 in style with an evening of drinks, dinner and dance. Due to popular demand music will be supplied by award-winning band, The Blue Rinse.
