We’ve had the puppy boom but there are so many gorgeous golden oldies who need a home, and to highlight this we want to hear about your special senior dog for a chance to win a luxury dog hamper.
Karen Rhodes, founder of Luxury Dog Hampers and Eastlife have launched a search for older dogs in East Anglia who are still loving life and bringing so much happiness to their owners.
We want owners to come forward with their stories about their inspiring dogs.
The winner will receive a special ‘Golden Oldies Hamper’ worth £64.
Karen has walked dogs in Suffolk for the last seven years, many of whom are older – dogs over seven are classed as senior.
Her own dog Bailey inspired her to set up a luxury dog hamper business as she wanted to spend more time with him. Sadly, she lost him at the start of lockdown in 2020, aged 14, but wanted to do something in his memory for lovable dogs in their twilight years.
She launched the Golden Oldies hamper, where all profits go to The Oldies Club, a charity helping rescue centres in the UK find homes for senior dogs.
How to enter the competition
To enter the competition, all you have to do is share the story of your inspiring senior dog along with a picture on our Facebook competition post and ‘Like’ Luxury Dog Hampers Facebook page.
