The courses run between 11am and 4pm, for slots see the Beginner’s Silver Course page.
The course is an introduction to working with sterling silver, using traditional tools and techniques. You’ll learn how to cut metal by hand, silver solder, file, sand and professionally polish a hand made piece. And you’ll also learn how to size and shape a ring for yourself or as a gift / alternatively make a pendant, cut in the shape of your choice and adding textures. All techniques are demonstrated by the tutor and guided throughout.
