I’ve been in catering for over 30 years. I first studied catering at Norwich City College then went on to work in London as a chef, my most interesting job was head chef at Ealing Film Studios. But it was while working for Leith’s (Prue) that I fell in love with teaching, inspired by all the free courses I got at her cookery school.
After moving back to Norwich and having two children, I started working for Adult Education and Family Learning as a tutor getting qualified along the way. Seven years ago I started Lodge Farm Kitchen - Cookery School here in my home in Bawburgh. Then three years ago I decided to offer Food & Drink Walking Tours in Norwich which led to the website and then on to blogging. But I’ve also been food writing for 12 years for different magazines, newspapers and websites along with my own site. I just love food, I love cooking, I love teaching and I really love eating it, so while I’m at it I might as well sit back with a nice cup of tea and write about it too.
