The central Orb

Our first exhibition for 2022, The Central Orb, presents a feast of colour to blow away the cold light of January. Colourful paintings and prints by Anthony de Jong Cleyndert are complemented by work in glass by Teresa Chlapowski.
Anthony’s works appear to be abstract, but they are based on landscape views and self portraits, spacial in content. Recently other ideas have emerged through printmaking on a big scale. Teresa uses glass to create intricate patterns and flowing textures in her fused glass vessels, imbued with a riot of colour and light. Her freestanding sculptures ‘paint’ a glimpse of the human form, always with a story to tell.
This exhibition is a joyous boost for the eye and soul. It is a must see.
